Mascots

The Vals

Small painted robots with a >8 on their screen. Each one has its own colour. They are friendly, never cute in a childish way.

Use the official illustrations as they are. Don’t redraw them, recolour them, turn them into 3D or give them new facial expressions.

Voice

How we write

Warm and simple

Write like a person, not like an ad. Short sentences, plain words.

Yes:

“Your Val works on its own computer, even when your laptop is closed.”

No:

“Unlock next-gen autonomous AI workflows.”

Concrete

Show what happens, with real tools and real tasks.

Yes:

“Every Monday at 9, it sums up your pipeline in Slack.”

No:

“Boost your productivity like never before.”

Honest

Say what it does today. No promises we can’t keep.

Yes:

“It asks before sending anything.”

No:

“Fully autonomous, zero effort.”

In short

Do and don’t

Do

  • Use the logo in one colour, with its clear space.
  • Keep large areas of porcelain and let the content breathe.
  • Use terracotta for one thing per screen: the main action, the key word.
  • Round every corner at 12 px.
  • Use the official mascots and illustrations.
  • Write in sentence case, simply.

Don’t

  • Stretch, rotate, recolour or add effects to the logo.
  • Use purple, neon, cold blues or gradients.
  • Use other fonts.
  • Add borders and dividing lines: separate with space and background colour.
  • Use stock robots or generic AI imagery.
  • Use hype words: revolutionary, next-gen, magic.
